About Me
You already know I take pictures, but here are some other things you might not know about me:
I was born in Vladivostok, Russia, grew up in White Rock, and now call North Van home.
I’m happiest in the woods or by the ocean, which probably explains why so many of my sessions are outdoors.
I’m a mom of two very active boys, so running, climbing, cars, and snuggles are just part of my everyday life.
I’m on the verge of becoming a hockey mom, so wish me luck!
Left to my own devices, I’d be fully nocturnal, but the boys keep me on a schedule.
At the start of the pandemic I fostered two cats… and failed. They’re still part of the family.
I’m a pescatarian and have a love of fishing that was instilled by my dad and granddad.
I’ve never met a fruit I didn’t like, and my local produce store knows me by name because I’m constantly on the verge of buying them out.
I love to read and track my reading, and bookstores and libraries are my happy place.
Winter is my hibernation season, preferably with a puzzle in hand.
I make an annual family phonebook every November; it takes the entire month, but I secretly love it.
Kayaking is one of my favorite ways to spend time outside.
I’m an aspiring gardener, currently growing cherry tomatoes, peas, and zucchini every summer.
I’m slowly learning Spanish on Duolingo, and I’m a big thrift store enthusiast.
I talk really, really fast, and clutter makes it impossible for me to think straight.
All of these little pieces of my life come together in the way I photograph families. I love capturing real, playful, connected moments, because it’s the little things, the laughter, the chaos, the everyday magic, that make memories last.
